Email me and I'll put the elevator back in service.
Elevator #2 will be in Independent Service Mode:
Elevator #2 will be put into Independent Service Mode (this is the elevator we use when moving
in or our of the building) and the walls will be padded. You will also have access to the Moving Room,
if required, which is accessible from the rear door of the elevator. (See below for the
Moving Room Map)
How the elevator works in Independent Service Mode:
- The elevator is controlled solely by the controls on the inside. This means if you are not
in the elevator, you cannot call or use the elevator.
- The elevator doors are designed to stay open when in Independent Service Mode.
- You will need to hold the "Close Door" button without releasing it, in order for the elevator
doors to shut.
- The elevator will not go to another floor until both doors are shut. Holding your floor button
will also shut the doors
- When the elevator goes up to your floor, it will remain there and the door will remain open.
If someone accidentally uses your elevator and gets off on another floor, take the regular elevator
to that floor and return to the Lobby with your elevator.
- Be careful not to close the elevator door to the Lobby and the Moving Room door at the same time if
you are not in the Moving Room or elevator, otherwise you might get locked out of the elevator and
Moving Room.
- The Moving Room should remain open all on its own. If you are concerned that it might accidentally
close, simply use any item laying around (ie. moving box, etc.) to keep it open.
***I acknowledge that any damage caused during or as a result of this move will be assessed to the unit owner and the cost of repairs will be determined by the corporation and payable as common expenses.***
Please note when moving in or out, to break down all boxes before they are put into the
recycling bin.
